IT Administrator

Key Responsibilities

• Network & Server Management Monitor, maintain, and optimize company networks, servers, and IT infrastructure.
• Building Network Redundancy & High Availability – Design and implement redundant network architectures to ensure failover mechanisms and business continuity.
• Call Center & Remote Networking Support – Troubleshoot call center networking issues, manage remote VPN access, and ensure seamless connectivity for distributed teams.
• Hardware & Software Management – Upgrade, install, and configure hardware, software, and peripherals to meet business objectives.
• Security & Compliance – Implement security protocols, antivirus compliance, and data protection measures to mitigate potential threats. Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, SOC2, and other security frameworks.
• ISP Router & WiFi Management – Configure and troubleshoot ISP routers, WiFi settings, access points, and network performance for optimal connectivity.
• User & Access Management – Create and manage user accounts, enforce role-based access control, and maintain Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory.
• IT Asset & Vendor Management – Track IT assets, ensure optimal utilization, and coordinate with IT vendors for procurement and service agreements.
• Remote Troubleshooting & Support – Diagnose and resolve IT issues across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments, using remote support tools.
• Network Security & Troubleshooting – Manage LAN/WAN, Firewalls settings, VPNs, WiFi troubleshooting, and call center network architecture.
• Backup, Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity – Develop and implement data backup, retrieval, recovery, and redundancy strategies.
• Process Standardization & Change Management – Define, document, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs) and IT change management processes.
• Helpdesk & IT Support – Provide technical support, manage helpdesk tickets, and ensure smooth end-user experiences.
• Training & Documentation – Maintain IT documentation, train employees on IT policies, and promote cybersecurity best practices.
• Continuous Improvement – Keep up with advancements in IT infrastructure, networking, and security to improve internal systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in IT administration or a similar role.
• Experience managing Google Workspace / Slack
• Strong expertise in networking (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, WiFi troubleshooting, call center networking, and high-availability architectures).
• Knowledge of redundant network design, failover strategies, and IT infrastructure management.
• Hands-on experience with Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
• Basic knowledge of AWS and cloud computing.
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices, ISO 27001, SOC2 compliance, and antivirus compliance.
• Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems and remote support tools.
• Experience in vendor management, procurement, and assessing IT service providers.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and time-management skills.
