Job Overview:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounting Manager to oversee and manage all accounting operations.
- This leadership role will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and the overall integrity of financial data.
- The Senior Accounting Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, driving financial insights, optimizing accounting processes, and providing strategic recommendations to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and other regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Ensure proper accounting treatment for various transactions, including revenue recognition, expenses, and assets.
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance and training to enhance their performance and professional development.
- Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to internal controls.
- Conduct performance reviews and implement strategies for continuous improvement within the team.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Assist in the development of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial planning.
- Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to management on cost control and financial optimization.
Internal Controls & Process Improvement:
- Establish, maintain, and monitor internal controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial information.
- Continuously identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and implement best practices.
- Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of all general ledger accounts.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Interaction:
- Work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams (including finance, tax, audit, and operations) to support strategic decision-making.
- Liaise with external auditors during audits and implement any necessary changes based on audit recommendations.
Financial Analysis & Strategic Insights:
- Provide financial analysis and insights to senior leadership to assist with decision-making.
- Identify key financial trends and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis as required to support the business needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
- 5-7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably in a mid-to-large size organization.
- Extensive experience in financial reporting, general ledger management, and accounting operations.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), financial regulations, and best practices.
- Proven track record of leadership and team management
