About the Role :
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Director/Associate Partner to join our growing IT Audit practice.
In this leadership role, you will be responsible for leading and delivering high-quality IT audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.
You will play a critical role in assessing clients' IT risks, providing valuable insights, and helping them improve their overall IT governance and security posture.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage all aspects of IT audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, reporting, and client communication.
- Conduct in-depth assessments of IT controls, including application controls, general controls, access controls, and security controls.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of IT systems and processes, identify and assess risks, and recommend appropriate control enhancements.
- Perform IT risk assessments and vulnerability assessments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key client contacts, including IT management, audit committees, and senior executives.
- Proactively identify client needs and opportunities for additional services.
- Provide value-added consulting services to clients on IT governance, risk management, and compliance.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, providing on-the-job training and professional development opportunities.
- Oversee the work of audit teams and ensure the quality and timely delivery of audit engagements.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of audit methodologies and best practices.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the IT audit practice.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the IT audit practice.
- Stay abreast of evolving IT risks, cybersecurity threats, and regulatory changes (e.g, SOX, GDPR, NIST).
- Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and frameworks, such as COBIT, ISO 27001, and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
Qualifications :
Essential :
- 10+ years of experience in IT audit, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, or equivalent.
- In-depth knowledge of IT audit methodologies, standards, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of IT controls, including general controls, application controls, and security controls.
- Experience with auditing ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics) and other enterprise applications.
- Experience with data analysis techniques and tools, including CAATs (e.g, ACL, IDEA, SQL).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and project management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, or a related field
