Network Engineer L3(Juniper)

Job responsibilities

▪ Configuring and monitoring firewalls, switches, and routers.

▪ Good Experience with Juniper devices.

▪ Deep knowledge of Spanning Tree, VLans, VTP

▪ Good knowledge on various tunnelling technologies e.g., VPN, GRE

▪ Upgrade, install and troubleshoot networks, networking hardware devices and software.

▪ Good experience in setting up and managing LAN and WAN environment.

▪ Knowledge of routing protocols like RIP, OSPF, VRRP, EIGRP and BGP.

▪ Maintain inventory of equipment and parts as well as documentation of vendor activities.

▪ Develop and document system standards for network devices.

▪ Willingness to work night shifts and provide backup support.

Skills

▪ Candidate must be CCNA or JNCIS-SEC certified.

▪ Excellent understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching, including MPLS, VLAN and Ethernet LAN Switching.

▪ Experience in WAN/LAN networks, TCP/IP and OSI model, addressing.

▪ Experience in network services such as DNS, DHCP, IIS, FTP etc.

▪ Experience in Windows Servers, Linux routing.

▪ Experience with firewalls, routers, and VPN.

▪ Demonstrated ability to communicate across all levels of IT, present complex ideas concisely and clearly articulate

technical ideas both verbally and in writing is necessary.

▪ Demonstrated ability to influence and provide consistent results across all levels of the organisation is imperative.

▪ Able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, present a professional behaviour, and work

well independently is essential.

▪ In addition, troubleshooting and organisational skills with a can-do attitude and the ability to adjust to changing

requirements are essential.

▪ Maintaining confidentiality, treating others with respect and upholding Company values is key.
