JOB DESCRIPTION OF VP/SVP/CBO - Sales - Domestic Market
LOCATION : GURUGRAM
We are seeking a seasoned professional to take on the role of VP/SVP/CBO Sales, with a proven track record of driving year-over-year growth and scaling organizations to significant levels.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive growth in the cloud sales segment.
- Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to maximize their performance and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure alignment and integration of sales efforts with overall business objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships and alliances, to expand market reach and increase sales revenue.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners, understanding their needs and requirements to deliver tailored solutions and drive customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and industry developments to identify opportunities and
threats, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Track and analyse sales performance metrics, providing regular reporting and insights to senior
management to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards, as well as relevant industry
regulations and best practices.
Required Skill:
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a focus on cloud services or related
technology solutions.
- Strong understanding of the cloud market landscape, including key players, trends, and technologies.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve
ambitious goals.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish
trust with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales plans, analyze market data, and make
data-driven decisions.
- Results-oriented mindset with a strong drive for achievement and a commitment to excellence.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities
and deadlines.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- 20-30 years of total work experience, with at least 8-10 years in the leadership role.
- Experience in building and leading large sales teams and managing senior stakeholders.
- An MBA from a Tier-1 institute is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a demonstrated ability to scale teams and
business operations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
- Deep understanding of the SMB market and its dynamics.
