Job Description

Razorpay was founded by Shashank Kumar and Harshil Mathur in 2014. Razorpay is building a new-age digital banking hub (Neobank) for businesses in India with the mission is to enable frictionless banking and payments experiences for businesses of all shapes and sizes. What started as a B2B payments company is processing billions of dollars of payments for lakhs of businesses across India.

We are a full-stack financial services organisation, committed to helping Indian businesses with comprehensive and innovative payment and business banking solutions built over robust technology to address the entire length and breadth of the payment and banking journey for any business. Over the past year, weve disbursed loans worth millions of dollars in loans to thousands of businesses. In parallel, Razorpay is reimagining how businesses manage money by simplifying business banking (via Razorpay X ) and enabling capital availability for businesses (via Razorpay Capital ).

About BillMe:

BillMe is the worlds leading digital billing provider. It was founded by Jai Hemrajani, Kuber Pritmani, and Rupam Jain in 2018. BillMe has now evolved into a "CRM powered by Digital Billing". BillMe helps over 300+ businesses like McDonalds, Tata, BurgerKing, and Decathlon send digital bills, collect data, and increase sales and engagement. BillMe was acquired by Razorpay in 2023. The collaboration between Razorpay and BillMe aims to help retail brands digitalize the customer bills and improve customer engagement and retention.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Increasing sales through convincing Merchants/ Enterprises of our capabilities.
  • Establishing, growing, and maintaining commercial ties with clients both current and potential in the designated territory or market segment in order to attract new clients for our goods and services.
  • Creating a sales funnel, long-term goals, and business planning.
  • Keeping an eye out for changes in the customers organization that could have an impact on future business.
  • Coordinating sales efforts with product groups, marketing, sales management, accounting, and internal stakeholders.
  • Independently locating and acquiring new Merchants/ Enterprise accounts, as well as upselling to our current clientele in close collaboration with our partners or on our own.
  • Using the CRM and sales management system to manage the sales process.
  • Locating key bureaucrats on our own and establishing contacts with them either directly or in close collaboration with our partners.
  • Managing stakeholders both inside and outside the project.
  • Collaborating with several bank partners Background & Education.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in the Financial/ CRM SaaS solution selling environment.
  • Experience in pitching to the CXOs of large scaled enterprises.
  • Experience in selling products that impact the bottom lines of global brands.
  • Must have a customer centric approach with prior corporate client facing experience.
  • Fluency in local languages.
  • B2B Sales experience in the fin-tech/ SaaS sector would be preferable focused towards Retail segment
  • The capacity to efficiently arrange, prioritize, and manage customer relationships in order to optimize activity that generates income.
  • To quickly and directly seal a contract.
  • Ability to promote change and make decisions with commercial heft.
  • High level of motivation, self-drive, and independence.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and bargaining skills.
  • Organized and focused with a strong desire to succeed.

Additional Notes:

  • This is an Individual Contributor Role (IC) and will not involve team management
  • Travelling would be around 50% or higher
  • Location Bangalore/ Mumbai
