Job Description :
The SAP Support Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating the implementation, support / maintenance, and optimization of the SAP application within the company, across all the entities. Currently SAP ECC 6 and S4 HANA is running in multiple entities. The modules SD, MM, WM (lean), FICO, PP, QM & QC is being implemented.
Below are the key responsibilities to the position :
- Manage the SAP integration, customization or enhancement projects with other IT applications deployment / deployed within the BNB Group, all entities.
- Regularly monitor the performance and integrity of SAP systems, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
- Provide support to the end users in SAP, recording of all the events and reported incidents on ITSM portal and solution update to events and incidents within the agreed SLAs focusing on response time and resolution time.
- Identify if there are any control issues observed during day-to-day execution by the business users. Report this control gaps to the HOD / business/operations heads.
- Plan and coordinate the implementation or upgrade of SAP modules based on business requirements with SAP support Partners, Managing project timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Conduct training sessions for business users to enhance their proficiency in using SAP applications.
- Collaborate with business units to identify opportunities for process optimization using SAP functionalities.
- Manage data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes between SAP and other systems and provide required support to BI/MIS team wherever required.
- Assist in managing change related to SAP implementations, upgrades, and process changes, such as create BRD as per the business need and get it reviewed and approved by the business stakeholders before processing it the SAP support for the enhancement.
- Communicate changes and updates to relevant stakeholders and facilitate training on new processes.
- Hand holding of the end users in SAP Training and User Acceptance Testing during SAP implementation or enhancements
- Create user documentation and guidelines to assist users in navigating SAP systems effectively.
- Basis Support and Managing, such as User IDs, authorizations and review and manage TR movements.
- Finance and Controlling & Material Management Support to Accounts users, WH, MDM and Procurement Team for Support, enhancement, customization & UAT.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or related field.
- Proficient in SAP ECC or S/4 HANA, preferably on SAP IS -Retail, SD, MM & FI
- Minimum 5+ years of experience with SAP implementation, configuration, and support.
- SAP Implementation project management experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of retail industry-specific best practices and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Linguistic skill - English & Hindi (Speak, read & write)
