Job Description

- Develop civil engineering designs for solar energy projects, including site layout, grading, drainage, and structural foundations.
- Perform site assessments to evaluate topographical, geological, and environmental conditions.
- Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications using CAD software.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project execution.
- Coordinate with architects, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate civil designs with overall project plans.
- Oversee the preparation of feasibility studies and cost estimates.
- Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Prepare and submit permit applications and other documentation required for project approval.
- Address any issues or discrepancies that arise during the construction phase.
- Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams and subcontractors.
- Resolve design-related challenges and implement design modifications as needed.
- Incorporate sustainable design practices and innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and performance.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in solar energy and civil engineering.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering
- Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.).
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, site development, and structural design.
- Knowledge of solar energy systems and related technologies is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
