Civil Design

Responsibilities.
Develop civil engineering designs for solar energy projects, including site layout, grading, drainage, and structural foundations.
Perform site assessments to evaluate topographical, geological, and environmental conditions.
Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications using CAD software.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project execution.
Coordinate with architects, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate civil designs with overall project plans.
Oversee the preparation of feasibility studies and cost estimates.
Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
Prepare and submit permit applications and other documentation required for project approval.
Address any issues or discrepancies that arise during the construction phase.
Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams and subcontractors.
Resolve design-related challenges and implement design modifications as needed.
Incorporate sustainable design practices and innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and performance.
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in solar energy and civil engineering.
Qualifications.
Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc).
Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, site development, and structural design.
Knowledge of solar energy systems and related technologies is highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
