Job Description

  1. HR Planning:
  • Contribute to the development and execution of HR strategies aligned with the plants business goals.
  • Collaborate with plant leadership to understand workforce requirements and contribute to business planning.
  1. OE Model:
  • Leading and executing OE model at plant to ensure smooth functioning of OE lifecycle.
  • Analysing areas of improvement and ensuring actions to bring improvement and efficiency.
  1. Talent Acquisition:
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and execute recruitment strategies.
  • Implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing to onboarding.
  1. Training & Development:
  • Facilitating and tracking need-based training and other programs required for the career development of the employees.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous learning and development.
  1. Performance Management:
  • Oversee the performance appraisal process, providing guidance to supervisors and managers.
  • Rating consolidation and calibration at plant level.
  • Work with leadership to identify and develop key talent.
  1. Employee Engagement:
  • Develop and execute employee engagement initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  1. Employee Relations:
  • Foster a positive work environment and manage employee relations effectively.
  • Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations.
  • Maintaining IR with the union and for ensuring smooth working of the plant
  • Maintaining lists of the power centres, personnel representing them, etc. and remaining in touch with external key opinion leaders (KOLs).
  1. HR metrics and reporting:
  • Establish and monitor key HR metrics to assess the progress of HR KPIs.
  • Prepare regular reports for plant leadership and company HR.
Hiring Specifications:

The scope of role is leading Human Resources for a Mid/Small Size Plant, other specifications are:

  • MBA in HR or equivalent from an institute of repute.
  • 6-9 years of experience in HR (depending on plant size) with exposure to handling employee lifecycle in a manufacturing setup for at least 5 years.
  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws and regulations
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to align HR initiatives with business goals.
  • Articulative and good in building long term relation with stakeholders including Business.
  • Experience in project management, proactive problem solving and budgeting
