The E-commerce Manager is responsible for developing and executing the online sales strategy for the fashion retail brand. This role involves managing the company's e-commerce platform, driving online sales, enhancing the customer experience, and ensuring seamless integration between online and offline channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce, fashion, and digital marketing.
E-commerce Operations:
- Manage the daily operations of the Terra Luna e-commerce platform, ensuring smooth functioning, exceptional user experience, and on-time order fulfilment.
- Collaborate with tech teams to ensure the website is fully optimized for speed, performance, and navigation across all devices.
- Oversee catalogue management, including accurate product listings, pricing, descriptions, and visual merchandising to align with brand aesthetics.
- Ensure seamless integration with payment gateways and order tracking systems to deliver a superior shopping experience.
- Manage the MBO and third-party websites and ensure timely payments and order dispatches without any delay or lag.
- Ensure timely discounting and managing of sales and coupons applied to third-party platforms and our website.
Sales and Performance Management:
- Analyze sales data, website performance metrics, and customer behaviour to drive revenue growth and optimize conversion rates.
- Develop and implement e-commerce strategies to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Identify and execute upselling and cross-selling opportunities through bundling,
Customer Engagement & Retention:
- Work closely with the customer service team to ensure prompt and professional responses to customer inquiries, issues, and feedback.
- Develop loyalty programs, referral incentives, and repeat purchase campaigns to improve customer retention and lifetime value.
- Optimize customer touchpoints to elevate brand perception and satisfaction.
Marketing and Growth Initiatives:
- Plan and suggest marketing campaigns tailored to online platforms, including discounts, flash sales, seasonal launches, and collaborations.
- Collaborate with the creative team to design visuals, banners, and promotional assets that align with Terra Luna's premium brand aesthetics.
Inventory and Logistics Management:
- Coordinate with production and inventory teams to ensure the availability of stock for all products listed online.
- Track inventory levels and implement effective stock control strategies to minimize overstocking or stockouts.
- Work with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of orders and optimize shipping costs.
Tech and Vendor Management:
- Manage vendor relationships, including hosting platforms (Shopify, etc.), logistics partners, and third-party services.
- Stay updated on e-commerce tools and technologies, implementing features that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
Education: Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-commerce, or Design.
Experience: Minimum 8 - 12 years of experience managing an e-commerce platform, preferably for a premium or sustainable fashion brand.
Proven track record of achieving online sales targets and executing successful marketing campaigns.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, Myntra).
- Strong knowledge of analytics tools like Google Analytics and data-driven decision-making.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Soft Skills:
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining high standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Creative mindset with an eye for premium branding and aesthetics.
The candidate should be from a Ecom handling fashion brand
The candidate must have an entrepreneurial spirit and working culture. He/ she is expected to be with the Brand for a long period and contribute to the organization's growth while growing along with the organization's growth.
