Job Description

Ramada Hotel is seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Front Office Executive to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, the Front Office Executive plays a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to handle a variety of tasks efficiently.


Responsibilities:

  • Guest Relations:
    • Greet guests upon arrival and departure with a warm and professional welcome.
    • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the guest's stay, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly and efficiently.
    • Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance.
    • Maintain a positive and professional image at all times.
  • Reservations & Bookings:
    • Manage incoming reservations via phone, email, and online booking platforms.
    • Process check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring accuracy in billing and room assignments.
    • Handle cancellations and modifications to existing reservations.
    • Maintain accurate records of bookings and availability.
  • Customer Query Resolution:
    • Respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel services, local attractions, and directions.
    • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
    • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate manager when necessary.
  • Hotel Management Software:
    • Utilize hotel management software to manage reservations, guest information, and billing.
    • Maintain data integrity within the system.
    • Generate reports as required.
  • Communication & Coordination:
    • Communicate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
    • Relay important information to relevant team members.
    • Maintain a clear and concise log of daily activities and guest interactions.
  • Cash Handling & Billing:
    • Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately.
    • Maintain a balanced cash drawer.
    • Assist with billing inquiries and adjustments.
  • Other Duties:
    • Assist with other front office tasks as needed, such as handling mail and packages.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
    • Adhere to hotel policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in using hotel management software (.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent grooming standards and professional appearance.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Fluency in English (and other languages are a plus).
