Job Description
- Oversee the daily operations of the rolling mill to ensure efficient and effective production of TMT bars.
- Develop and implement production schedules and workflows.
- Ensure that all products meet the company s quality standards and specifications.
- Implement quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections.
- Address and resolve any quality issues promptly to minimize production downtime.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, technicians, and operators.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure the regular maintenance and repair of rolling mill equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues to prevent production delays.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to develop preventive maintenance schedules.
- Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a rolling mill, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of TMT bar production processes and technologies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong understanding of safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
