Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy and Planning
    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to Rajasthan Patrikas publications.
    • Identify and capitalize on market opportunities within regional, national, and niche markets.
    • Prepare and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and performance reports.
  2. Client Relationship Management
    • Build and nurture relationships with advertisers, distributors, and institutional clients.
    • Expand the client base by identifying and acquiring new partners and advertisers.
    • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and partnership terms.
  3. Team Leadership and Development
    • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.
    • Set individual and team performance objectives and monitor progress.
    • Motivate the team to achieve and exceed sales goals while fostering collaboration.
  4. Market Analysis and Promotion
    • Conduct in-depth market research to understand audience preferences and competition.
    • Collaborate with editorial and marketing teams to develop targeted promotional campaigns.
    • Represent Rajasthan Patrika at industry events, trade fairs, and conferences.
  5. Operational and Reporting Responsibilities
    • Monitor sales performance metrics and ensure alignment with company goals.
    • Ensure seamless coordination with production, distribution, and finance teams.
    • Provide regular updates and actionable insights to senior management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Education
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  2. Experience
    • Minimum of 7-10 years in sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the media or publishing industry.
    • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing key client accounts.
  3. Skills
    • Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Analytical thinking with expertise in sales data interpretation and strategy formulation.
    • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  4. Attributes
    • Results-oriented with a proactive and innovative approach.
    • Strong understanding of regional and national media landscapes.
    • High level of organizational and time management skills.
