Job Description

General Manager and Administration Head
Responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and efficient management of the plant operations.
Overseeing the security infrastructure, managing administrative functions, and supporting the overall operational efficiency of the facility.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Security Management
    • Developing Security Plans: Formulate and implement security policies,

procedures, and emergency response plans to safeguard the plant, employees, and assets.

  • Surveillance Oversight: Ensure the installation and monitoring of surveillance systems, such as CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
  • Access Control: Manage the security systems to control access to the plant, including checking employee badges, guest passes, and vehicle inspections.
  • Incident Management: Respond to security breaches, thefts, and emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement when necessary.
  • Security Staff Management: Supervise security personnel, ensuring they are well-trained, prepared, and compliant with plant security procedures.

2. Administration and Facility Management

  • Facility Maintenance: Oversee the general upkeep of the plant's infrastructure, including maintenance, repairs, and cleanliness.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with service providers such as cleaning, security, and facility maintenance contractors.
  • Internal Communication: Coordinate communication between different departments, ensuring that administrative functions are aligned with the plant’s operational needs.

3. Health, Safety, and Compliance

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that security and administrative practices comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Emergency Response Plans: Develop and manage emergency protocols, such as fire drills, evacuation plans, and crisis management strategies.

4. Employee Management and HR Support

  • Staff Supervision: Supervise the administration and security team, providing direction, training, and performance evaluations.



  • Employee Relations: Handle employee grievances related to security and administrative issues, promoting a positive work environment.

5. Liaison and Coordination

  • Liaison with Authorities: Coordinate with local law enforcement, emergency services, and other external entities to ensure a rapid response in case of an emergency.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on security incidents, administrative operations, and safety audits for management review.

6. Strategic Planning and Continuous Improvement

  • Security Infrastructure Enhancements: Identify opportunities for improving plant security systems, facilities, and operational processes.
  • Strategic Goals Alignment: Align security and administrative functions with the plant’s broader strategic objectives.
  • Reporting to Senior Management: Regularly update senior management about security risks, incidents, and administrative performance.



Qualification-Any Graduate or Post Graduate
Candidates Experience- Having a background as an Ex-Army personnel or a Commissioned officer
Preference will be given to candidates having experience in plant operations/security management or administrative role.


Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent
