Job Summary : The Sales Engineer International Business is responsible for exploring new business opportunities, fostering customer relationships, and driving sales growth in global markets. This role demands a combination of technical expertise, knowledge of export regulations and international trade policies, and strong sales acumen to effectively promote and sell equipment and process solutions to international clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Sales Business Development
- :
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in international markets.
- Generate leads, qualify prospects, and convert them into customers.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market expansion targets.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Customer Relationship Management
- :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, distributors, and partners.
- Provide technical consultation and product demonstrations to customers.
- Address customer queries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Technical Support Product Knowledge
- :
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Work closely with the engineering and RD teams to offer customized solutions.
- Prepare technical proposals, sales presentations, and commercial offers.
- Sales Operations Coordination
- :
- Collaborate with internal teams for order processing, logistics, and documentation.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with international clients.
- Ensure compliance with export regulations and international trade policies.
- Reporting Performance Analysis
- :
- Track sales performance, analyse data, and generate reports.
- Provide regular updates to the management on market trends, customer feedback, and sales forecasts.
Qualifications Skills :
- Education : Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical) or related field. MBA in International Business is a plus.
- Experience : 2-5 years in international sales of industrial equipment or process solutions.
- Technical Knowledge : Understanding of drying, evaporation, and ZLD technologies is an advantage.
- Language Skills : Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is beneficial.
- Soft Skills : Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Other Requirements : Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
Note : : This role requires candidates with prior experience in distillery or evaporator erection projects, excellent technical expertise, and the ability to work in fast-paced project environments.
