Assistant Manager EPC (QS)

Role & responsibilities

1. Analyses the drawings and specifications of the building that architects or engineer provides
2. Quantity surveying relies on technical measurement tools for accurate cost results adhering to IS codes, CPWD Govt norms or as approved by the Organization.
3. Extract Quantities from drawings-based activities.
4. To calculate the quantity of the material used in the building, also calculate the accurate work, and labour cost detail and do rate analysis as per drawing of Architectural and Structural drawing.
5. Study Details of billing & speculations Vs Estimate and derive variation.
6. Calculate the budget based on the requirement and available drawings and preparing an effective budget estimate for each stage of the construction process.
7. Undertake cost analysis for various project work
8. Creating BOQ estimates based on sets drawings & further prepare a detail budget.
9. Prepare detail BOQ for tender and submit to contracts dept.
10. Do Value Engineering and cost benefit analysis for various activities to optimise cost.
11. Preparing budget & uploading on SAP
12. Create WBS in SAP and service PR on SAP
13. Allocate fund based on budget on SAP
14. Control Material PR raised at project.
15. Monitor progress at site periodically and reconcile cost wrt balance work based on SAP data.
16. Keep record of extra work / Scope with reason for variation from original estimate.
17. Prepare MIS report plan v/s actual periodically with SAP data / EPM data.

Experience Minimum 8 years in core Quantity Surveying with a reputable developer.
