Job Description

Creates 100%guest satisfaction by providing Yes I Can! genuine hospitality and by exceedingguests expectations

Gives personalattention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guestservice

Listens, apologieswith empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guestproblems

Provides promptquality service to customers by preparing beverages and serving guests inaccordance with Brand standards

Provides service bysuggesting a cocktail/wine or non-alcoholic beverage, recommending promotionalitems and up selling to premium products as appropriate

Demonstrates athorough knowledge of beverage recipes and mixing procedures

Maintains knowledge ofbar inventory and wine selection to respond properly to customer questions

Prepares drinks inaccordance with the guest s order

Stocks and orders allsupplies and glassware; displays beverages in an attractive fashion

Assures highquality of service and product and maximises the profitability of the operationby assisting the Food & Beverage Manager in managing the bar in accordancewith Brand s standards

Co-ordinatesschedule and staffing for assigned shifts

Supervises bar staffduring assigned shifts

Assists in the controlof customer bills

Approves requisitionsfor required supplies in Manager s absence

Promotes good publicrelations through the proper handling of customer complaints

Ensures that productserved is in accordance with Brand s standards by inspecting food presentationand ensuring that staff utilize proper serving techniques

Ensures that thecustomer receives quality service by providing work direction for Bar staff

Supervisesservers, verifying that their workstations are stocked, neat and orderly

Ensures that the areais ready for customers by checking overall condition of bar on a regular basis

Ensures that therestaurant is in neat and orderly condition at all times

Provides accuratereports of operations for management as requested

Adheres to legaland/or Brand policies and standards

Understands andfollows the laws and guidelines for beverage service

Handles cash, checksand/or credit cards in accordance with Brand policies

Keeps Manager promptlyand fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.

Performs all dutiesand responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance withestablished company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectivesof this position.

Maintains a favorableworking relationship with all other hotel employees to foster and promote aco-operative and harmonious working environment.
