Workers Compensation and Workplace, Safety & Health
Assists inthe co-ordination of responses to EEO complaints, WS&H, Union Relations andgrievances by researching situations and gathering information as requested
Maintainsrecord keeping requirements of Workers Compensation as directed and providesnecessary follow-up
EnsuresReturn to Work programs are implemented and that all Workers Compensation casesare reported to Human Resources Manager
AssistsDepartment Heads in handling employee situations by counselling them inpreparing of appropriate verbal and written communication to employee
Assists theHuman Resources Manager in ensuring the quality and consistency of performanceappraisals by reviewing appraisals and counselling Supervisors on appraisalswhich do not conform to Brand s standards
Fosterspositive attitude to Hotel and work environment by assisting the HumanResources Manager in planning and co-ordinating employee orientation,conducting training sessions and other ongoing programs
Handlestransfer or reclassification requests
Utilisesleadership skills and motivation techniques in order to maximise employeeproductivity and satisfaction
Assists inthe co-ordination of wage and performance review activities of the Hotel toensure compliance with the law and control costs
Informsemployees of benefits, Hotel policies etc
Conductstraining sessions as requested
