Confirmsdaily specials and new menu additions with kitchen staff
Manages thefood and beverage service provided in assigned outlet; coaches employees oneffective service and food presentation techniques
Inspectsrestaurant and outlet areas on an on-going basis and takes appropriate steps toensure facilities meet or exceed the hotel s standards at all times
Leads staffmeetings in manager s absence; conducts daily pre-shift meetings to discussspecials, house count, reservations and new menu items
Assists inquarterly inventories
Recruits andselects qualified candidates
Providesemployees with the orientation and training needed to understand expectationsand perform job responsibilities
Communicatesperformance expectations and provides employees with on-going feedback
Providesemployees with coaching and counseling as needed to achieve performanceobjectives and reach their fullest potential
Givespersonal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork whenproviding guest service
Listens,apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolvingguest problems
Provides YesI Can! genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis
Assumes theresponsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their bestjudgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction
Performsother duties required to provide the service brand behavior and genuinehospitality
