Job Description
- Understand client requirements and its objectives and scope
- List stakeholders involved in the project(onsite, Offshore, customer etc), including their roles and expectations.
- Requirement Gathering, Requirement Analysis, Requirement Documentation
- Classify tasks based on its nature and Task Breakdown, Task Assignment, Task Prioritization, Task Tracking and Task Monitoring
- Verification and validation of developed software.
- Communication and security requirements analysis, specification creation

The ideal candidate will have a combination of technical expertise, analytical skills, task management and attention to detail, as well as strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
Work Experience
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field with bilingual capability (Japanese and English)
- Experience in medical devices development
- Experience in hemodialysis machine is an added advantage
- Experience in embedded system design and development using OS/RTOS on MCU/SoC.
- Good at requirement analysis, designing system architecture, implementation, unit testing, verification and validation.
- Experience in developing embedded software for sensor control and motor control.
- In-depth understanding of different communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, USB etc.
- Good understanding of OS concepts, multithread applications, IPC mechanisms, scheduling and memory management
- Basic knowledge of Hardware with respect to board bring-up and diagnostics.
- Experience with hardware debugging tools and interface like JTAG, SWD.
- Good interpersonal communication (both Japanese and English) skills and experience in collaborating with the team.
- Client handling and coordination with offshore development team
- Providing technical guidance to the development team, mentoring and guiding engineers, and being a role model for technical excellence.
- Japanese ability - Business level / JLPT N2 or above (Reading & Writing)
- English Business level (Good communication and presentation skills required)
- Willing to travel to Japan to work closely with customer based on request.
