Key skills for the job
- Develop Electrical architecture for Power Conversion Products (Bi-Directional Power Inverters/Converters, Electric Chargers)
- Selection and sizing of converters / Inverters / High voltage components and cables
- Design and develop electrical system and schematics for Power Conversion Products (Bi-Directional Power Inverters/Converters, Electric Chargers)
- Perform electrical analysis, load analysis and design calculations.
- Responsible to deliver NPI Programs which involves Creation of electrical Sub-systems for Power Conversion Products.
- Get involved and contribute in new component development and sub processes.
- Collaborate with Cross Functional teams and resolve any design boundary issues that arise.
- Investigate Field Failures and involve in Continuous Product Improvement activities.
- Communicate results to customers, suppliers, team members, and other business units
- Perform product maintenance /Resolve electrical design related issues
- Requires a bachelor degree in electrical/electrical and Electronics with 3-4 years of experience or M. tech with 1-2 years of experience in Automotive electrical, electric drive vehicles.
- Knowledge on electrical components like circuit breakers, capacitors, IGBT, inverter will be added advantage.
- Incumbents must have demonstrated excellent analytical skills and the ability to perform complex Assignments.
- Must have a good Electrical aptitude with ability to develop product concepts.
- Must have ability to communicate technical information effectively with team members and others in the work group, as well as product groups, customers, and suppliers.
- SW Required: MATLAB, ETAP, VECTOR CAN tools
- Advanced knowledge of the model-based software development, MIL/SIL/HIL based validation
