Job Description
- Design and develop electrical systems for oil and gas projects, including power distribution systems, control systems, and instrumentation.
- Prepare detailed electrical engineering drawings, specifications, equipment sizing, electrical distribution diagrams and technical documents.
- Conduct electrical load calculations, short circuit analysis, and coordination studies to ensure optimal system performance.
- Perform design calculations for earthing, lightning protection, lighting, relay settings etc.
- Select and specify electrical equipment and components, considering project requirements, safety standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical designs with mechanical and process systems.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and technical documents to ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulations.
Preferred candidate profile
Graduate / Post graduate in Electrical Engineering
3-6 years of experience in Oil Gas Industry
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
