Job Description
Job Description - Roles Responsibilities for NPI
Experience: 03-05 Years
Qualification: Diploma, B.E. or B.Tech. in Mechanical / Industrial Production / Aerospace
Knowledge Area: Engineering Production Aerospace Communication
Overview of Skills Required:
- Maintain configuration management for regular production parts and standards.
- Planning and co-ordination with cross functional teams.
- Interpretation of Detail part/Assembly Drawings and preparation process sequence, PFMEA, PFD, Feasibility study.
- Act as a key support to prepare and maintain documents to meet the Audit requirement. Integration and implement SAP activities.
- RFI, RFQ/RFP, Feasibility study, BOM, Special process knowledge.
- Software skills: CATIA
The candidate should be:
- Responsible to understand the requirements of the process against the customer requirements.
- Responsible for complete NPD activities, start to end process
- RFI RFQ feasibility study, BOM preparation
- Responsible to modify the relevant documents for the internal and external change.
- Responsible to run, manage Corrective Action Board Meetings and Monitor the actions
that arises during CAB Meeting
- Responsible to Lead and Participate in Route Cause analysis and suggests Corrective action
- Responsible to suggest the improvement for the productivity, Quality, Cost.
- Responsible to train the operators for the improvement established.
- Responsible to follow up the improvement actions with all the departments.
- Responsible to assist in the new product development activities.
- To communicate the status of the project during the meeting.
- Knowledge about AS 9100,9102, NADCAP.
- Knowledge on Special process i.e., Heat treatment, chemical surface treatments, surface coatings etc.
- Understanding and Interpretation of Assembly Drawings and preparation process sequence, PFMEA,
- PFD, Feasibility study.
- Understanding and Interpretation of Tool/Jig Drawings and their Maintenance
- Knowledge on SAP- Routing, BOM, Master creation.
- At the designated position, the candidate needs to -
- Take the guidance and direction from the Team Leader, Head of Department / Project and do deliver the task requirement on-time and quality.
- Maintain the integrity among all stakeholders and team members.
- Have good Communication skill both in oral and written.
- Be a good Team Player.
- Taking appropriate decision and action and update to immediate reporting manager and / or Head of Department time to time and on need-basis
