JD for Product (NX Design Engineers)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Excellent skills in modelling and creating manufacturing drawings of GT Components, Sub-Assemblies, and Assemblies with NX Software
• Experience in supporting conceptual design for a development project
• Involved in coordination for technical solutions and validation of models and drawings.
• Should have knowledge on Checklist preparation & NX Modeling Best practices.
• Experience in Casting, Machining, welding large assemblies
• Knowledge of ISO Drawing standards
• Basic knowledge of gas turbine components
• Should have Good Knowledge of Teamcenter PLM 2020
• Should have Basic Knowledge of SAP
• Should have thorough knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y 14. 5) & Tolerance Stack up.
• Should have the ability to review the Engineering Models and Drawings as per company standards and specifications
• Understanding & Interpretation of FEA results
• Alignment with different stake holders

Tools

• SIEMENS NX modules: modelling, drafting, assembly, (Optional: Mechanical routing, Sheet-metal & Wire harness/ Cable routing)
• Teamcenter/PLM 2020
• AutoCAD
• SAP knowledge (Optional)

Qualification & Soft skills

• B. E/B. Tech or Diploma (with contract) in Mechanical Engineering.
• 4 - 8 years of experience in Mechanical designer for Gas Turbine power generation domain.

Female candidates also preferred.

• Candidates with Rolls Royce gas turbine experience highly preferred.
• Experience in the Product Definition with High Complex Modeling, drafting & assembly.
• Be proactive to take initiative, make contacts and co-operate within the company as well as with Vendors/Suppliers when needed.
• Strong ability to work independently in providing technical services to customers, and a desire to proactively pursue and correct project issues.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
