Job Description (JD)

Position: CAD Designers & Team Leader (Plastic Part Design)

1. CAD Designers (4 Positions)

Responsibilities:

- Design and develop 3D models and Detailed Drawings using CAD software for Plastic parts.

- Develop 3D models and detailed Drawings for new existing plastic parts.

- Collaborate with the team to collect the data and prepare detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for Plastic Parts.

- Ensure designs meet all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

- Ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.

- Knowledge of Injection Moulds Design and Manufacturing will be most preferred.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Proven experience in Plastic parts design and CAD CAM software, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.

- Proficiency in 3D Model software - Solid works (must) and CREO 10. 0 (Good to have)

- Proficiency in 2D drawing software- Experience in AUTO CAD 2024 .

- Solid understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles for Plastic parts.

- Knowledge about Tolerance, Tolerance stack up and GD&T is must.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work within a team and with clients.

2. Team Leader (TL)

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a team of 4 CAD CAM designers, ensuring efficient and timely completion of design projects.

- Coordinate with other departments to ensure designs are aligned with production and customer requirements.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team, fostering professional development.

- Oversee the quality of design work, ensuring that all designs comply with internal and external standards.

- Review and approve design outputs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications.

- Act as a liaison between senior management and the design team, communicating progress and addressing challenges.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the design process.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and guide a technical team.

- Strong technical knowledge of CAD CAM design and moulding processes.

- Proven experience in Plastic parts design and CAD CAM software, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.

- Proficiency in 3D Model software - Solid works (must) and CREO 10. 0 (Good to have)

- Proficiency in 2D drawing software- Experience in AUTO CAD 2024.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

General Requirements for All Positions:

- A minimum of 5-6 years of experience in Plastic parts design and design software.

- Proficiency in 3D Model software - Solid works (must) and CREO 10. 0 (Good to have) and 2D drawing software- AUTO CAD 2024.

- Strong understanding of DFM concepts and their application in design.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Good soft skills, including teamwork, adaptability, and problem-solving.

- Strong vocabulary and the ability to communicate technical details effectively.

- Knowledge of Injection Moulds Design and Manufacturing.
