Engineer-FEA

• Perform finite element analyses [ Pre-processing, Solving and Post processing] using ABAQUS CAE Software
• Performing steady state and transient thermal, structural and thermo-mechanical analyses using ABAQUS CAE
• Understand and define contacts, conducting nonlinear analysis, vibration analysis, buckling analysis, etc. using ABAQUS
• Do analytical calculations of bolted/welded constructions.
• Understanding basics of high-cycle fatigue (HCF), low-cycle fatigue (LCF), creep, and fracture mechanics.
• Drive technical solutions and engage in reviews with both internal and external customers.
• Writing of analysis reports and certification reports.
• Ensuring timely and high-quality deliveries for complex development projects.

Have a solutioning mindset and approach to work

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Mechanical engineering or equivalent with 4 to 5 years of experience in finite element analysis (FEA). Turbomachinery domain preferred.
• Strong fundamental in Finite element methods and solid mechanics.
• Experience in performing static/dynamic, linear and non-linear thermal and thermo-mechanical analysis using ABAQUS Software.
• Performing low cycle fatigue, high cycle fatigue and detailed fracture mechanics assessments is added advantage
