Lead Software Engineer - Embedded SW Dev C++

( Location : Bengaluru, Hybrid Model)

Role Summary & Essential responsibilities:

The candidate should have extensive experience in Embedded Software development, be self-driven, and able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Responsible for the software implementation phase: requirement analysis, implementation & tests

Shall utilize his/her experience and expertise to:

• Design, develop and testing of embedded software in fast-paced environment

• Perform root cause analysis and develop solutions as necessary

• Meet the Quality, Cost and Time objectives set by the Technical Project Manager

• Adhere to internal processes including coding rules/guidelines.

Qualification / Requirement:

• Bachelor in Computer Science/Electronics engineering or MCA/MSc

• 10 to 14 years of hands-on experience in complex embedded real-time software design and development

Desired Characteristics:

Knowledge in computer development:

• Extensive experience (10+ years) in developing software on embedded C++ & embedded Linux.

• Excellent in C++ (preferably C++ >14) and object-oriented programming & design patterns

• Experience in QT based app development in Linux will be an advantage.

• Mastery on the embedded Linux environment

• Multithread programming

• Good knowledge of IP networks and protocols (UDP, TCPIP etc)

• Good Knowledge of embedded processor architectures and digital electronics

• Experience on Android app development will be an added advantage

• Knowledge of using unit-testing framework in C++ is an advantage
