Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Engineer to join our team at [Company Name], a leading semiconductor equipment manufacturer. The Compliance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all semiconductor equipment complies with global, regional, and local regulatory standards and certifications. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure equipment safety, environmental sustainability, and regulatory adherence.
Work Experience
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure semiconductor equipment complies with international standards such as SEMI, CE, RoHS, REACH, and ISO 9001/14001.
Oversee compliance with regional regulations, including Singapores Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act, and hazardous substance regulations.
Work with certification bodies for product registration and labeling, such as UL, FCC, and CE marking.
Design and Testing:
Review product designs to identify and address potential compliance issues.
Collaborate with R&D and design teams to integrate regulatory requirements into product development.
Conduct equipment validation and testing to verify safety and performance compliance.
Audit and Documentation:
Lead internal and external compliance audits for product certifications and regulatory reviews.
Develop, maintain, and manage compliance documentation, including technical files, declarations of conformity, and testing reports.
Ensure accurate labeling, documentation, and instructions for all products.
Training and Support:
Provide training to internal teams on compliance standards, best practices, and updates to regulations.
Act as a compliance subject matter expert (SME) and advisor for cross-functional teams.
Process Improvement:
Develop and implement compliance processes to streamline certification and testing workflows.
Continuously monitor changes in industry standards and update processes accordingly.
Global Collaboration:
Coordinate with global teams to ensure compliance across multiple regions, including North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
Interface with regulatory agencies, certification bodies, and third-party labs
