Roles & Responsibilities:

As a Sr. Engineer/Lead Engineer/Sr. Lead Engineer, the candidate will be furnishing an individual contribution role in technical execution of project tasks. The purpose of this role is to execute medium to high complex project tasks to generate deliverables on-time with the right quality using defined processes, tools and standards. This is a completely technical hands-on role. Responsibilities in this role includes:

• Analyze requirements, design, develop, modify, and deploy software components anywhere in the Windows software stack.

• Write effective and reusable code according to best practices

• Troubleshoot variety of complex software problems reported from the field/internal.

• Perform unit test, verification and validation of the code developed.

• Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code.

• Work as an individual contributor aligned with customer priorities.

• Provide timely status updates and proactive communications on issues to the stakeholders.

• Interface with internal and external stakeholders regarding software issues.

• Acquire in-depth understanding of domain and existing products.

Required Skills:

• Must have strong C/C++ expertise.
• Must have solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design concepts.
• Must have Windows application development experience .
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Sound knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals data structures, algorithms, operating system concepts
• Knowledge of design patterns, multithreading, unit testing framework and code analysis tools.

Desired Skills:

• Good to have experience in modern C++ features (C++ 11 and higher).
• Should be ready to learn, unlearn and re-learn.
• Good to have Industrial Automation/Semiconductor domain experience.
