Manager - Quality Assurance

Responsibilities:

Job Summary:

- As an QA manager with 10+ years of experience, you will be responsible for validating and verifying software applications, ensuring that they function correctly and meet customer requirements.

- You will collaborate with developers and product managers to identify and resolve issues throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform thorough manual testing of software applications across various platforms.

- Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on product requirements.

- Conduct API testing using Postman to ensure backend services function as expected.

- Identify, document, and track defects and issues using a bug tracking system.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product functionality and user requirements.

- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective.

- Maintain and update test documentation, including test cases and test results.

- Support the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 10+ years of experience in automation testing and manual testing.

- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.

- Proficiency in API testing- tools both Manual and Automation.

- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (JIRA, TestRail).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Attention to detail and a passion for quality.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in automation testing (optional).

- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.

- Familiarity with SQL and database testing.
