Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and enhance backend automation test scripts (REST API) using Rest Assured and Core Java.

- Design and implement automated test cases using Cucumber and integrate them into Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines.

- Collaborate with development teams to understand functional requirements and create appropriate test plans.

- Execute automated test suites, monitor results, and provide feedback to development teams for quick resolution of issues.

- Set up and manage Docker containers for test environments and integrate test cases into Jenkins pipelines.

- Troubleshoot and debug test failures, ensuring clear and concise reporting of issues.

- Contribute to building scalable and reusable test automation frameworks.

Primary Skills :

Backend (REST API) Automation - Hands-on experience with testing REST APIs.

Core Java - Solid understanding and experience in Java programming.

Rest Assured - Experience in writing API tests using Rest Assured.

Cucumber - Experience in writing BDD-style test cases and integration with CI/CD tools.

Docker - Experience in using Docker for containerization and environment setup for tests.

Jenkins - Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline integration.

Secondary Skills :

Selenium - Experience in frontend automation.

Cypress - Familiarity with Cypress for end-to-end testing.

JUnit - Experience in unit testing.

Mockito - Experience in mocking objects for unit tests.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 3-5 years of professional experience in QA automation.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for quality assurance.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
