DXFactor - Quality Assurance Manager - Automation Testing (10-15 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design and create test strategies - creating test plans and test cases for individual product releases, with an eye to validating business requirements, operational needs and real-world consumer product usage.

- Develop and enforce a standard process for testing all releases that includes automation into the software build, test, and release process.

- Maintain exemplary knowledge of product business, functional and operational requirements in order to incorporate into test strategies, day to day testing and reporting.

- Conduct release testing, reporting individual and summarized results to the Product & Technical Development team.

- Prioritize resources and coordinate with technical project managers to plan testing,

- Communicate quality standards and parameters to QA team, product development team, and other appropriate staff.

- Partner with engineering teams to stay informed of new technologies being introduced and to ensure that system components are designed for testability.

- Coordinate the setup of each testing environment, ensuring refreshes of data sets and access is scheduled as needed for each iteration of testing.

- Organizes and participates in reviews and inspections of code, system and program design, user stories, and testing strategies.

- Clearly communicate and provide constructive feedback on issues, risks and concerns to both the QA team and project management.

- Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that the product meets required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.

- Find creative solutions for complex software and business issues and apply these solutions to resolve problems.

- Lead and grow a quality assurance team as both a people manager and a tactical driver of success, with the ability to contribute to day-to-day efforts as needed.

Requirements :

- You're based in Ahmedabad/Bangalore, or plan to shift here in nearby future.

- You have 10+ yrs of QA Engineering and Automation in product based company experience including 3+ Yrs managing software testing teams and writing clear, concise and comprehensive test strategies and plans in Devops and/or Agile environment.

- You have prior experience of leading QA teams with a track record of successfully validating and delivering high-quality and scalable products.

- You have hands-on QA experience including testing automation.

- Deep knowledge of automation best practices and industry trends.

- You have hands-on experience with all test levels, methods, types and experienced with software testing metrics.

- You have strong attention to detail and quality, and the ability to direct the team to adopt best practices.

- You have the ability to work collaboratively with teams to address their needs, motivate them throughout the project, and identify opportunities to add their own support directly when needed.

- You have the ability to provide oversight and analysis of work estimates and defend and articulate work efforts.

- You ensure the team adheres to established test case standardization & best practices.

- You have the ability to work collaboratively in teams with other specialized individuals.

- You are able to work in a fast-paced, technical environment with minimal oversight and in a professional manner.

- You can stay on top of the cutting-edge testing techniques and trends, implementing the technologies and ensuring higher quality products.

- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills including the writing and presenting of presentations around testing strategies and best practices.

- You have the ability to work in a cross-functional and cross-domain environment and drive discussions with various leaders across the company
