DXFactor - Senior MERN Stack Developer - MongoDB/Express.js (7-12 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior MERN Stack Developer to join our growing engineering team.

You will be a key contributor to the development and maintenance of high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly web applications.

This role offers a remote work option with Bangalore as the base location.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).

- Develop and implement server-side logic, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and efficient data handling.

- Design and develop user interfaces using React.js, incorporating best practices for user experience and accessibility.

- Integrate frontend components with backend services using RESTful APIs.

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.

- Design and implement database schemas in MongoDB.

- Develop and maintain user interfaces using React.js, including state management, routing, and component-based architecture.

- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code adhering to best practices and coding standards.

- Conduct thorough unit testing and integration testing.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

- Follow Agile development methodologies (e.g, Scrum, Kanban).

- Experience deploying Node.js applications into production environments.

- Knowledge of AWS infrastructure and experience with deploying applications on AWS is a strong plus.

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers.

- Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications :

Experience : 7-12 years of hands-on experience in software development with at least 5+ years of experience in MERN stack development.

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Mandatory Skills :

- MERN Stack : Strong proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, React.js, and MongoDB.

- RESTful APIs : Proven experience in building, using, and documenting RESTful APIs.

- Version Control : Strong knowledge of Git and experience with version control systems.

- Database Skills : Strong understanding of database concepts and experience with MongoDB.

- Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Good to Have Skills :

- Cloud Computing : Experience with AWS infrastructure and deployment.

- Socket Programming : Experience with implementing and working with socket programming.

- Testing : Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g, Jest, Mocha).

- Frontend Technologies : Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies
