Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, particularly using Java and Selenium, and possess experience in API testing and web application testing. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software products.

Key Responsibilities :

- 4+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.

- Conduct thorough testing of web applications to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.

- Perform API testing to validate the integrity and reliability of backend services.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide input on testing strategies.

- Analyze test results, report defects, and track them to resolution.

- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience in automation testing using Java and Selenium.

- Strong understanding of API testing (REST/SOAP) and tools such as Postman or SoapUI.

- Experience in web application testing, including functional, regression, and performance testing.

- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.

- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI).

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Knowledge of additional programming languages or testing tools is a plus.
