Senior Architect - Software Development

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Architect to drive application development and modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Python, React.js, AWS Cloud, and Microservices, with a proven track record in designing scalable, high-performance applications. This role requires strategic thinking, hands-on technical expertise, and leadership in modernizing legacy systems and building cloud-native applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and lead the development of modern, scalable applications using Python (Django/FastAPI/Flask) and React.js.
• Define and implement microservices architecture, ensuring modularity, scalability, and security.
• Design cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services (Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, etc.).
• Establish best practices for CI/CD, DevOps, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Lead application modernization efforts, migrating monolithic applications to microservices-based architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align architecture with business goals.
• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability in cloud environments.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools for continuous improvement.
• Mentor and guide engineering teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 13+ years of experience in software development and architecture.
• Expertise in Python (Django, FastAPI, Flask) for backend development.
• Strong hands-on experience with React.js for front-end development.
• Deep knowledge of AWS Cloud and cloud-native application design.
• Strong experience in microservices architecture, API design, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proven track record in application modernization and cloud migrations.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with SQL & NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB).
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.
