Job Description

Responsible for data modelling, reporting, data warehousing, cloud technologies, and ETL processes. The Sr. BI Developer will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing our clients BI solutions, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements and translate business problems and requirements to valid reports.

Core Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain data warehousing solutions that support the storage and retrieval of large volumes of structured and unstructured data
Create, enhance and optimize ETL processes for extracting data from diverse sources, transforming it, and loading it into the data warehouse
Utilize cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to deploy and manage BI solutions, ensuring scalability and flexibility
Develop interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools like Power BI, or similar, to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders
Construct data models to facilitate efficient data retrieval, analysis, and reporting
Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of data warehousing and BI solutions for improved data access and query performance
Implement data quality checks, validation processes, and data cleansing to maintain data accuracy and integrity
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide BI solutions that align with business goals

Preferred Skills

Proven experience as a BI Developer with a strong focus on data warehousing, cloud technologies, and ETL tools like Talend ETL
Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-based data storage solutions
Strong knowledge of data modeling and data architecture best practices
Expertise in BI tools like Power BI , or similar
Familiarity with data integration techniques and tools
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities\ Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality BI solutions
