Test Engineer

Automation Tester Position Overview: Automation Testers design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to improve the efficiency and accuracy of quality assurance efforts for mobile telecom applications. They work closely with automation leads to implement reusable scripts and ensure robust test coverage. This role involves selecting appropriate automation tools and ensuring the effectiveness of test automation. Key Responsibilities: Test Automation Framework: Design and implement test automation frameworks. Select and evaluate automation tools. Test Script Development: Develop and maintain automated test scripts for telecom systems (e.g., CRM, billing, network monitoring). Ensure test script reliability and maintainability. Collaborate with developers to identify areas for automation during the SDLC. Enhance automation scripts for scalability, reusability, and maintainability. Test Automation Execution: Perform test automation for functional, regression, and integration testing. Execute automated test suites in CI/CD Pipelines to analyze and report test results. Identify and resolve test failures. Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD): Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline. Ensure timely execution of automated tests. Key Expertise / Knowledge: Strong scripting skills (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG) Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo) Experience in automating tests for telecom systems, especially OSS/BSS applications. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in IT or related field. 3+ years of automation testing experience in telecom projects. ISTQB Test Automation Engineer certification preferred. ----------------------------
