Quadrant Technologies - Azure DevOps Engineer - Python/CI/CD Pipeline (8-12 yrs)

We are looking for a seasoned DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Azure DevOps and Python scripting, with 8-12 years of experience.

The role involves creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating testing, and managing Azure DevOps tools and processes to streamline and enhance software development lifecycles.

Proficiency in YAML and experience with Azure's CI/CD ecosystem are mandatory, while familiarity with the Pythia framework is a plus.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

- Automate integration, testing, and deployment processes to accelerate delivery cycles.

- Collaborate with developers to ensure the effective use of pipeline stages and environments.

- Develop automation scripts using Python and PowerShell to support testing and DevOps workflows.

- Write YAML configurations to automate and configure Azure DevOps pipelines.

- Create, test, and maintain scripts for repetitive tasks, and ensure code is reusable and efficient.

- Develop and execute test automation using Python and PowerShell to ensure software quality.

- Utilize additional scripting languages like Tcl where needed to support testing scenarios.

- Build and maintain testing suites and frameworks to ensure code quality across various environments.

- Maintain and manage the Azure DevOps ecosystem, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.

- Set up and manage Azure DevOps tools, including artifact repositories and build/test systems.

- Provide regular updates on CI/CD status and system health through automated dashboards.

- Configure and manage Kubernetes clusters and Virtual Machines (VMs) within Azure.

- Set up, maintain, and monitor Azure environments to ensure reliable and scalable infrastructure.

- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure smooth integration with other Azure resources.

- Manage continuous integration and testing processes, ensuring code quality and performance.

- Set up automated reporting to track CI/CD pipeline metrics, code quality, and other KPIs.

- Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline failures, working with teams to address issues quickly.

- Automate dashboards in Azure DevOps for enhanced visibility into project and pipeline status.

- Develop new features and functionality within the Azure DevOps ecosystem to support evolving

business needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Proficiency in Azure DevOps, with experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong Python scripting skills, with experience in test automation.

- Mandatory knowledge of YAML for configuring and managing pipelines.

- Experience with PowerShell for automation and maintenance tasks.

- Familiarity with the Pythia framework (preferred, but not required).

- Knowledge of Artifact Repository Management with Azure Artifacts.

- Hands-on experience with CMake, Makefile, cmocka, Maven, MS Build, NPM, and SCA for build and test processes.

- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and DevOps best practices.

- DevOps experience with platforms like GitLab, Azure DevOps, or other integrated DevOps tools.

- Proficiency in Kubernetes cluster setup and management in Azure.

- Experience setting up and managing Virtual Machines in Azure.

- Ability to manage cloud resources, security, and configuration in Azure environments.

- Familiarity with Git for version control.

- Awareness of software quality metrics, uptime requirements, and DevOps maintenance.

- Knowledge of code quality and CI/CD metrics tracking and improvement.

Education:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
