DESIGNATION: Junior Engineer

Key Responsibilities

1. Planning and Execution of Construction Projects
   
• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget tracking.
2. Preparation and Maintenance of Construction Drawings and Specifications
   
• Prepare and review detailed construction drawings, specifications, and other necessary project documentation.
• Ensure that all drawings and specifications are up to date and aligned with project requirements.
3. Site Inspections and Progress Reporting
   
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety standards.
• Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports, documenting milestones, challenges, and solutions.
4. Compliance with Safety and Quality Standards
   
• Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant safety regulations, building codes, and quality control standards.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to health and safety guidelines across all project phases.
5. Resolution of Construction Issues
   
• Proactively identify and resolve construction-related problems, including technical, logistical, or coordination challenges.
• Provide effective solutions to any construction issues to minimize delays and maintain project quality.
6. Documentation and Reporting to Authorities
   
• Prepare and submit all necessary documentation to relevant authorities, including permits, approvals, and compliance reports.
• Ensure that all regulatory and legal requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.
7. Cost Estimates and Project Schedules
   
• Develop and manage accurate cost estimates and project schedules, ensuring projects remain within budget and on time.
• Track expenditures and project milestones, making adjustments as necessary.
8. Management of Subcontractors and Suppliers
   
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Manage relationships with external partners, ensuring they meet project quality and timeline requirements.
9. Quality Control and Standards Adherence
   
• Monitor the implementation of construction quality standards and ensure the final output meets or exceeds expectations.
• Perform quality inspections during construction and at project completion.
10. Project Meetings and Stakeholder Communication
    
• Participate in project meetings and coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Communicate effectively to ensure smooth project execution, addressing concerns and providing updates.
