Title : D365 F&O Technical Support Resource
Experience : 8 Years
Location : Pune
Position Overview :
The D365 F&O Technical Support Resource will report to the Company Project Manager (PM) and will be responsible for executing assigned tasks efficiently.
The resource should possess strong technical expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) and be capable of designing, testing, implementing customizations, and performing bug fixes.
The role requires close collaboration with business users, Level 3 support teams, and technology vendors to ensure seamless operations and continuous system improvements.
Key Responsibilities :
Technical Support & Development :
- Design, develop, create extensions, and deploy codes and objects in Dynamics 365 F&O.
- Implement new features and fix bugs to enhance system performance.
- Conduct root cause analysis for repeated incidents and implement permanent resolutions.
- Implement changes in the system while ensuring minimal impact on IT services.
- Manage data import/export processes and ensure data integrity.
- Work on Power BI dashboards and reports for QT-implemented modules.
- Enhance existing Mobile Power App built on top of D365 F&O (optional).
Ticketing & Support :
- Utilize the Company's ticketing system to log, track, and resolve incidents.
- Create tickets for user-reported issues received via email or walk-ins.
- Provide detailed resolution updates and document root causes for each ticket.
- Ensure that support services are delivered in a consistent and secure manner.
- Answer How/Where/Why queries of business users effectively.
- Interact with Technology Vendors and Level 3 Support teams to escalate complex issues.
- Conduct Quality Testing (QA), Integration Testing, and Deployment for tickets closed by L3 Support.
- Prevent recurrence of repeated incidents by implementing appropriate bug fixes/enhancements.
ERP & Finance Modules Expertise :
- Work extensively with Finance and Procurement modules, ensuring business processes are efficiently managed.
- Support and configure workflows in Finance and Procurement.
- Expertise in Budgeting, Procure to Pay, and Vendor Management processes.
- Handle Procurement and Sourcing tasks such as PR, PO, RFQ, Purchase Agreements, Vendor Portal, Policies, and Setup.
- Manage Financial Dimensions, Ledger Posting Setup, and Category Hierarchy.
- Ensure seamless execution of Month-End & Year-End processes.
- Work on Inventory and Fixed Asset Management, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Cash & Bank Management.
- Support HR & Payroll Modules, including Worker & Position Management.
System Configuration & Change Management :
- Utilize Microsoft Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Azure DevOps for managing system changes and documentation.
- Manage and document business and system processes using Microsoft cloud-based tools.
- Control and implement changes in the production environment to minimize IT service disruptions.
- Maintain ERP implementation standards and documentation.
Collaboration & Continuous Learning :
- Work collaboratively with diverse teams having different backgrounds and experience levels.
- Stay updated with the latest Microsoft Dynamics 365 technologies to improve system efficiency and business operations.
- Support business growth by ensuring seamless execution of financial and operational processes.
Key Requirements :
Experience & Skills :
- Minimum 8 years of D365 Finance & Operations technical support experience.
- Strong experience in customization, development, testing, and implementation.
- Good experience with Budgeting, Procurement, HR & Payroll modules.
- Proficiency in Procure to Pay, Vendor Management, and Workflow Configuration.
- Strong understanding of Financial Dimensions, Ledger Setup, and Procurement Policies.
- Experience in Month-End & Year-End Financial Processes.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, User Management, Data Import/Export, and Integration Testing.
- Ability to extract and present data through reports and dashboards for QT-implemented modules.

- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.

- Work Schedule & Reporting
Work Hours : 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Qatar Time).
Reporting To : Company Project Manager (PM).
Preferred Qualifications :
- Certifications in D365 F&O, Power BI, or Microsoft Azure are a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Azure DevOps is highly desirable
