Job Summary

Hydroscope Technology Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Purchase Executive to handle sourcing, vendor management, and procurement of water sensors and electro-chlorinator components. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost optimization, supplier negotiations, and ensuring procurement quality, while maintaining compliance with Indian industry regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, vendor coordination, and supply chain management expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement and Vendor Management

• Source and engage with Indian and international suppliers for:
• Water sensors and monitoring devices
• Electrolyser cells
• Rectifiers, power supplies, and automation panels
• Salt dosing systems, pumps, and flow meters
• Brine tanks, piping, and storage systems
• Relevant chemicals
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with OEMs, manufacturers, and distributors.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms to ensure cost-effective procurement.

Inventory and Supply Chain Management

• Maintain optimal stock levels and ensure timely procurement for production.
• Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure smooth import, export, and local distribution.
• Work closely with internal teams to align procurement with project requirements.

Compliance and Documentation

• Manage purchase orders, vendor agreements, and import/export documentation.
• Ensure compliance with GST, customs regulations, and government procurement policies.

Market Research and Cost Optimization

• Analyse market trends, supplier performance, and raw material costs to improve procurement strategies.
• Implement cost-saving measures and mitigate supply chain risks.

Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Business Administration.
• Experience: 2 years in procurement, preferably in water treatment, industrial equipment, or environmental technology.
• Vendor & Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to source, negotiate, and manage supplier relationships.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills in English and Hindi; proficiency in regional languages is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in water treatment industry procurement, municipal projects, or industrial sourcing.
• Familiarity with Government E-Marketplace (GeM), public tenders, and PSU procurement.
• Knowledge of customs clearance and import/export procedures.
