Senior System Engineer - iAM Solutions (7-8 yrs)

Position Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Senior System Engineer with 7-8 years of expertise in designing, implementing, and managing IAM systems. The role demands proficiency in development, customization, and configuration of IAM platforms, along with a deep understanding of security protocols, cloud platforms, and compliance frameworks.

As a key contributor, you will work across diverse environments, ensuring the seamless integration and optimization of IAM solutions for global enterprises, including Fortune 500 companies.

Key Responsibilities :

IAM Design and Development :

- Architect, develop, and configure robust IAM solutions tailored to enterprise requirements.

- Customize IAM systems to meet unique business needs and regulatory mandates.

System Integration and Management :

- Implement and manage IAM systems across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.

- Integrate IAM solutions with existing infrastructure and third-party applications.

Security and Compliance :

- Monitor IAM system performance and implement security best practices to safeguard sensitive data.

- Conduct periodic system audits to ensure compliance with frameworks like ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIST.

Troubleshooting and Optimization :

- Diagnose and resolve system issues promptly while minimizing downtime.

- Identify opportunities for system improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and security.

Collaboration and Leadership :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and compliance, to implement IAM best practices.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Technology Adoption :

- Stay updated with the latest advancements in IAM technologies, protocols, and industry standards.

- Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance IAM capabilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Experience :

- 7-8 years of experience in Identity and Access Management or related fields.

- Proven expertise in development, customization, and configuration of IAM systems.

Technical Skills :

- IAM Tools : Hands-on experience with platforms such as SailPoint, Okta, ForgeRock, CyberArk, or similar.

- Programming Languages : Proficiency in Java, Python, PowerShell, or equivalent.

- Protocols : In-depth knowledge of LDAP, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and Kerberos.

- Cloud Platforms : Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or other cloud environments.

- Database Management : Working knowledge of databases like SQL, Oracle, or similar.

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

- High attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality solutions.

Preferred Qualifications :

Professional certifications, such as :

- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)

- CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)

- SailPoint Certified Engineer or equivalent.

- Experience with DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes).

- Prior experience working in global enterprises or directly with Fortune 500 companies
