Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of Oracle Applications systems. Key responsibilities include
- -Installation and configuration of Oracle Applications and databases (E-Business Suite, Oracle Fusion Middleware, etc.).
- Application of patches and upgrades to the software and databases.
- -Monitoring and optimizing database performance and capacity.
- -Maintaining database security, including data encryption and user access controls.
- Perform regular backups and recovery procedures.
- -Conducting performance tuning and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and reliability of the Oracle Applications.
- -Analyzing and resolving database and application issues.
- -Developing and maintaining documentation related to database configurations, processes, and service records.
- -Working closely with application developers to design and optimize database schemas and queries.
- -Implementing and enforce database policies, procedures, and standards.
- -Collaboration with functional and technical teams and client stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database architecture and administration.
- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and shell scripting.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, or Azure.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization tools.
- 7-10 Yrs experience
- BE/BTech/MBA/MCA/CAs
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Master (OCM).
