Reporting to (grade and Job Title) = VP, Business Development Sales

Roles Responsibilities

The Senior Engineer, Contract Review (Team 3) plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and

compliance of contractual agreements within the Sales Business Development function of the aero

casting Military material system and Sub system manufacturing company. This role involves scrutiny

of contracts, identifying potential risks, and collaborating with various departments to mitigate those

risks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyze contracts received from customers, ensuring contractual terms align with

company policies and legal requirements, and collaborate with legal and compliance teams to

address any contract-related concerns.

Provide support in contract negotiations, offering technical insights and considerations, collaborate

with the business development and legal teams to secure favorable terms, and ensure a balance

between technical feasibility and contractual obligations.

Conduct risk assessments on contractual terms and conditions, identify potential risks and propose

mitigation strategies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and minimize risks.

Documentation and Record Keeping, and keep accurate records of contract changes, negotiations,

and approvals.

Ensure the quality and accuracy of technical information presented in contracts.

Leverage engineering knowledge to understand the technical aspects of contracts and

communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to bridge gaps in

understanding.

Act as a liaison between the business development team and engineering departments and

communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clarity on technical

aspects of contracts.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education and Certifications:

Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering/business administration, Matullargical, Aerospace,

industrial or related field. 2

Advanced degree or certification in Contract Management is a plus.

Experience:

2-4 years of proven experience in contract review, negotiation, or management, preferably within

the aerospace manufacturing industry.

In-depth understanding of contract law, commercial terms, and regulatory requirements relevant to

the aerospace sector.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex contractual documents and identify

potential risks or opportunities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across

departments and interact confidently with external stakeholders.

Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in reviewing and interpreting

contractual terms and conditions.

Technical / Functional Expertise other competencies:

Proficiency in contract management software or tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Word,

Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Ability to work under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, while

maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.

Problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to addressing issues and finding practical

solutions to mitigate risks.

Strong organizational skills and time management abilities to meet deadlines and manage

competing priorities effectively.

Adaptability and willingness to learn and adapt to changes in contractual requirements, industry

standards, or company policies.

Team player mentality with a willingness to collaborate, share knowledge, and contribute to the

overall success of the Sales Business Development function.

Middle Management. Every one has their own ego, even He don't know anything. Suffering in same position last 10-15 years and more. Neither want to learn anything nor tell anything. Useless !!!! Important:- No any body knows (Middle Management) how to Minimize the rejection rate except Technical Director.
