Position: Assistant Manager - Business Development
Location: Gurgaon

Role Overview:
- As an Assistant Manager - Business Development, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, leading strategic sales initiatives, and managing key client relationships. This role involves overseeing the full sales cycle, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless execution. You will also mentor junior team members and contribute to business expansion strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Revenue Growth:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, research, and market analysis.
- Oversee the entire sales pipeline, from lead generation to contract closure.
Market Research & Lead Generation:
- Analyze industry trends, market demands, and competitor strategies.
- Generate high-quality leads through cold outreach, digital research, and strategic partnerships.
- Establish and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients.
- Client Relationship Management & Solution Selling.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored SaaS solutions to address their challenges.
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations and sales pitches.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships to enhance customer retention and satisfaction.
Team Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Support and mentor junior sales team members to enhance performance.
- Work closely with internal departments (Marketing, Product, and Customer Success) to optimize business processes.
- Contribute to the development of sales enablement materials and strategies.
Negotiation & Strategic Partnerships:
- Engage with decision-makers, stakeholders, and resellers to develop strategic partnerships.
- Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
- Strengthen collaborations with channel partners to drive sales growth.
Sales Analytics & Reporting:
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and performance insights to leadership.
- Maintain detailed CRM records and track key sales metrics.
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies for optimizing sales performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience in SaaS sales, B2B business development, or enterprise sales.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, market trends, and business expansion strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Track record of successfully closing high-value deals and managing key accounts.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales automation tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
