Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a talented and motivated SAP IAM (Identity and Access Management) and SAP GRC Security Specialist with 2-4 years of experience in HANA Security, BI Security, Fiori, SAP Security, and SAP GRC Access Control (AC). The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of SAP business processes, Segregation of Duties (SoD), and security best practices, with the ability to support critical security functions in a 24x7 environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• SAP Security Management:
• Administer SAP Security across various modules including SAP HANA, SAP BI, SAP Fiori, and SAP ECC environments.
• Ensure secure access control and proper user role assignments within the SAP landscape.
• Configure and maintain SAP security settings in accordance with company policies and industry best practices.
• SAP GRC Access Control (AC):
• Implement and maintain SAP GRC Access Control (AC) to manage and monitor user access and ensure compliance with Segregation of Duties (SoD) policies.
• Conduct SoD analysis and remediation, ensuring adherence to company-defined policies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and manage access roles for various SAP systems.
• HANA and BI Security:
• Manage SAP HANA security configurations to protect sensitive data and ensure proper user access and data security.
• Secure SAP BI environments by implementing role-based access controls and policies.
• Fiori Security:
• Implement and manage SAP Fiori security for web-based access, ensuring that Fiori apps are properly secured.
• Provide ongoing monitoring and support for SAP Fiori security configurations.
• User and Role Management:
• Regularly review and manage user access and role assignments in SAP systems to ensure compliance with internal policies.
• Provide user access support for various SAP modules, troubleshooting access issues as they arise.
• Support and Monitoring:
• Provide ongoing support for SAP security-related issues in a 24x7 environment, ensuring quick resolution of critical incidents.
• Perform security monitoring, audits, and vulnerability assessments across the SAP landscape.
• Collaboration and Documentation:
• Work closely with business and IT teams to implement security and access policies.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of security configurations, user roles, and SoD analysis reports.
• Participate in periodic reviews and audits of SAP security settings to ensure alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Primary Skills:
• Strong experience with SAP IAM (Identity and Access Management), managing user access, roles, and permissions.
• Proficient in SAP GRC Access Control (AC), including SoD (Segregation of Duties) analysis and remediation.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA Security and SAP BI Security.
• Understanding of SAP Fiori security and web-based application security.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Security for role-based access control (RBAC) and user management across SAP environments.
• Secondary Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of SAP business processes and the integration of security within these processes.
• Ability to apply Segregation of Duties (SoD) principles to safeguard against security risks.
• Good understanding of various SAP modules (e.g., SAP ERP, SAP BI, SAP S/4HANA).
• General Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex security issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to support a 24x7 environment, addressing security incidents as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Certifications in SAP Security or SAP GRC (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP GRC).
• Experience in managing security for complex, large-scale SAP environments.
