Job Description

The Machining Incharge - VMC Setting is responsible for overseeing Vertical Machining Center (VMC) operations, managing the setup, programming, and optimization of VMC machines, and ensuring high-quality production outputs.
This role involves supervising a team of VMC operators, coordinating with quality control, and maintaining production efficiency.
The Machining Incharge will also be responsible for troubleshooting and improving machining processes to meet production targets and quality standards.

Requirements
VMC Setup & Programming : Lead and supervise the setup, programming, and tool selection for VMC machines to ensure precise machining according to design specifications.
Production Oversight : Manage and monitor VMC operations, coordinating production schedules, and ensuring that production targets are met within deadlines.
Quality Assurance : Ensure all products meet required quality standards; perform quality checks and adjustments as necessary to minimize defects.
Team Supervision : Supervise, train, and support VMC operators and technicians, ensuring efficient performance, compliance with safety standards, and adherence to best practices.
Process Optimization : Identify and implement process improvements in VMC operations, focusing on cycle time reduction, tooling efficiency, and minimizing waste.
Equipment Maintenance : Ensure the VMC machines are regularly inspected, maintained, and cleaned to prevent unplanned downtime; coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs as needed.
Troubleshooting : Provide technical guidance for troubleshooting machine issues, setup problems, and programming errors; implement solutions to reduce rework and downtime.
Tool Management : Oversee inventory and management of cutting tools, ensuring appropriate availability and quality; coordinate with the purchasing department for replenishments.
Documentation & Reporting : Maintain accurate records of production data, tool usage, maintenance logs, and downtime; prepare daily/weekly production reports and update management.
Safety Compliance : Enforce and adhere to company safety protocols; conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to ensure a safe working environment.
