MPLS Migration Engineer - Troubleshooting (5-15 yrs)

Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced IP MPLS Migration Engineer to join STL - Sterlite Technologies Limited.

The ideal candidate should have expertise in MPLS, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, and Traffic Engineering, with hands-on migration experience in IP/MPLS networks.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Implement IP/MPLS network transport systems to support MPLS VPN traffic and internet services from the gateway.

- Provide support and troubleshooting for networking technologies, including MPLS, VPRN/VRF, and MPBGP/BGP in an ISP/Telecom service provider environment.

- Execute implementation and migration of MPLS core networks using LDP/MPLS and ISIS interior routing protocols.

- Work with dynamic routing protocols including ISIS, OSPF, and BGP.

- Configure and deploy network solutions at the ISP Gateway level within an IP Routing, MPLS/BGP environment.

- Maintain network topology documents, design diagrams, and network inventory.

- Troubleshoot hardware and operational issues in the Nokia deployed network and equipment.

Skills and Qualifications :

- Strong experience in MPLS, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, and Traffic Engineering.

- Mandatory experience in IP/MPLS network migration.

- Expertise in MPLS VPNs, VPRN/VRF, MPBGP, and LDP/MPLS.

- Hands-on experience in network implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

- Experience working within an ISP or Telecom service provider environment.

- Knowledge of network topology documentation and inventory management.

- Experience in troubleshooting Nokia network equipment is a plus
