Progressive Infotech - Data Center Project Manager (12-14 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Consult with clients to understand their IT infrastructure needs and propose tailored managed services solutions.

- Design and deliver operational transformation strategies for client IT infrastructure, focusing on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and innovation.

- Drive business development activities, including identifying new opportunities, developing proposals, and closing deals.

- Manage the P&L for the Managed Services division, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.

- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in managed services to maintain a competitive edge.

- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for new and existing managed services offerings.

- Lead the delivery of high-quality managed services, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to SLAs.

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of client IT infrastructure solutions.

- Ensure the effective utilization of resources and tools to optimize service delivery.

- Proactively identify and address potential service delivery issues.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and efficiency.

- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

- Recruit, train, and develop talent within the Technology Center of Excellence.

- Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback to team members.

- Promote knowledge sharing and cross-training within the team.

- Build a strong team culture that emphasizes client focus, technical expertise, and continuous learning.

- Possess a deep understanding of the modern IT infrastructure landscape, including :

1. Data Center (Server, Storage)

2. Microsoft Stack and Linux Stack

3. Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, M365)

4. Network (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, WiFi)

5. Security (Endpoint, Network, Cybersecurity)

6. Databases (various platforms)

- Demonstrate proficiency in using managed services tools, including ITSM, ITOM, NOC, and AIOPS platforms.

- Experience with SOC (Security Operations Center) is a strong advantage.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 12-15 years of relevant experience in building and managing IT infrastructure services for mid-to-large clients.

- Proven track record of success in business development and P&L management.

- Strong technical expertise in the areas mentioned above.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Client-centric approach with a focus on delivering exceptional service.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Master's degree preferred.

- Relevant certifications (e.g, ITIL, AWS, Azure, etc.) are a plus
